I love the detail of the RC army truck. This is a fun toy. It will drive on rock, grass, and carpet. The steering servo whines it doesn't have any problem of turning. The parts are plastic so I wouldn't do any bashing with it. My son likes to put things in the bed of it and watch it bounce out.
This is such a cute toy! I got it for my 2-year-old nephew. He loves pushing buttons, cars, and being independent - so this was perfect for him! He doesn't completely grasp the idea of hitting one button at a time, but when someone else uses it, he loves chasing it around, and he's interested in figuring it out. It's neat too that the little man can be taken out and put back in - that's something else he likes to play with since he is really enjoying imaginative play. I wasn't too keen on the other button other than the forward button was to make the car go backward and reverse, but after I thought of it for a while, it made perfect sense - if the car bumps into something going straight, you wouldn't want it to keep going forward to turn, you would want to back it up and turn it to go another direction. I love this little toy.
Decent truck, not hobby grade good for customizing I have bought almost all the trucks that offer and the only problem I have long term is the drive shaft stripping but this is a new modal so we will see how long it takes this one to strip
Love the truck . it's steel chassis rails make for a durable sturdy platform for hobby grade upgrades such as gear box driveshafts axles and the most common upgrade proportional steering and electonics. All of which I upgraded within an hour after unboxing the truck. But for the price and cost of upgrades to turn from toy grade to hobby grade and still coming under 120 bucks after upgrades its fantastic . so much so I bought another one from a different manufacturer that provided free shipping and I recieved it in 7 business days
